Lymphoedema

Lymphoedema is a term given to a build-up of fluid in the tissues of the body resulting in swelling.

It can occur anywhere, but is most common in the arms and legs. Signs and symptoms of lymphoedema can range from a feeling of heaviness or tightness, aching or discomfort, through to limb distortion and skin changes. Here we explain the causes of this long-term condition, and how best to manage it.
